Did you also hear that there's a new challenge on the horizon? No surprise there, right? This week, my youngest was diagnosed with Lupus, so a whole new era of medical appointments, research, and healing has begun.
I have often said, and probably right here in Who Needs Boobs Anyway World, that I was given the experience of Breast Cancer for a reason. I firmly believe that reason was to help others navigate their own health challenges. I never thought it would be my own challenge, but am definitely glad that I have the knowledge to help him through this.
New resources will be added to the resources page as we learn about how to navigate this disease that has no cure.
In the meantime, remember that life really is about climbing the mountain and enjoying the valleys. Even the climb can be an amazing, lovely experience. The climb is where we push ourselves, where we learn, and where we get strong. We have to experience the challenge in order to enjoy the freedom down there in the valleys. For now, we revel in this new mountain and look forward to the valleys. I'll keep you posted.
Until next time, my friends, enjoy the climb!
